Busted Drain/Basket Cover...What's The Replacement & Cost?

by Sabrina
(Florida)

Was exercising in a friends pool the other day.

As I was exiting poolside I accidently ran over (using my jazzy chair) the cover to the drain/basket that catches bugs.

Where can I find a replacement for the cover that I broke and what are the cost of these covers?

Thanks for the question Sabrina

They're called skimmer covers and can be purchased at most pool supply stores.

The most popular are from Pentair/Sta-Rite or Hayward and come in a few colors, but the most common are white and off white.

Most of them cost anywhere from $8 - $15, so they're pretty inexpensive and with good care can last many years.

You can go through Amazon at this link:

Pool Supplies

I give 10% to the Shriners Hospital For Children for everything that is purchased through Amazon when you go through any Amazon link on my site.

Have a great and safe swimming season.

Robert
