Comment on Lowering pH Chart

by Bob Lowry
(Lima, Peru)

Your above "Chart - Lowering pH with Muriatic Acid" has the word Increase above the pH column.

What does this mean?

Should that be current level or if your pH is this?

Thanks for the question Bob

The chart means that if your pH level has increased by "X", then you'll need to use "this amount of muriatic acid" to bring it down to the desired level.

An example would be if the pH level went from 7.4 to 8.0, you would need "X" amount to bring it back down to 7.4.

I can understand the confusion. I'll take a look at the chart and make a correction if I receive another question about it.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention and I hope this clears it up for you.

Have a great swimming season

Robert
