Hayward Pro Grid DE Filter Element Cluster Assembly

by Steve Ferrera
(Budd Lake, New Jersey)

At the beginning of the season every year after I get the pool water clear I take apart the filter element cluster and clean all the panels.

For some reason this year I am having difficulty reassembling the filter element cluster to re-install back in the filter.

Is there anywhere I can get instructions or a diagram showing how the filter element cluster goes back together?

The filter I have is a Hayward Pro-Grid DE Filter which rated for a 30K size pool ( I forgot to get the M/N off the unit)

Thank you,

Steve Ferrera

Thanks for the question Steve

I'll give you a link to a question that I already answered about assembling DE filters:

Assembly Of Vertical DE Filter Grids - What A Pain!

Hopefully the above link can help.

These are the ones I personally use for Hayward DE filters. People call me up every once and a while to help with their DE problems.

I printed them out and take them with me when I need to go on a service call.

I keep misplacing the manuals or leave them at the customer's house.

I've cleaned DE filters hundreds of times, but I always want a good back-up just in case I forget something.

Hope this helps and have a fun and safe swimming season.

Robert
