Pool Water Testing Kit

by Ronald

I would like to know what water tests I should perform to ensure the water is safe to swim in?

Do you have a kit that you recommend?

Thanks for your help in this matter.

Thanks for the question Ronald

The pool water testing kit I and most pool professionals use, not to mention most state's Board of Health, is the Taylor Reagent FAS-DPD K-2005 or 2006 test kit.

Swimming Pool Water Testing Kit

This pool water test kit does take a little getting used to but the time investment is really worth it.

It will give you the most accurate reading.

Swimming Pool Chemistry..Care

These pool water kits test for:

  1. Chlorine

  2. Combined Chlorine (chloramines)

  3. Alkalinity

  4. pH

  5. Hardness

  6. Acid Demand

FAS-DPD K series is the way to go.

All the best

Robert
