What's A Good Wrap For A Stainless Steel Pool Rail

by Bill
(AZ)

What can I use to wrap the stainless steel pool rail so it isn't so hot to the touch in the summer?

Thanks for the question Bill

I know how hot pool railing can be. I had a pool route of about 50 pools in Mesa and Phoenix for years.

One of the better known handrail covers is "Koolgrips". They've been around for a few years. While I've never personally installed them, many of my customers had them. I was pretty pleased with what I saw and their quality. They seemed to hold up for a long time. Alot of wear and tear.

They come in 1.90 inch diameter rail cover. It's about 4ft. for $30, 6ft. for $40, and 8ft. for $60.

Hope this helps and have a great swimming season.
