Chlorine Tablet Accident
by: Anonymous

I accidentally had 2 chlorine tablets fall out of the floater and sank to the bottom of the pool for about a week. I removed them but there is an obvious bleach spot, which I am not as concerned with I just want to know is it safe to fill the pool back up or is the liner going to be compromised?

Hi. That's really a tough call. I've seen liners that were ok and others started to pucker and wrinkle within a couple of weeks after the tab was removed. It sometimes depends on the liner gauge and how long the tab was on the bottom.

You obviously know that the liner now has a chemical stain with cannot be removed. I'd give it a 50/50 chance of the liner wrinkling and possibly becoming compromised.
