Organic Sunscreen

An organic sunscreen or organic sunblock is a natural Zinc sunscreen to give you and your family eco-friendly products.

All Natural Sunscreen

Organic sunscreen should be mineral and plant based. Natural sunblock doesn't contain synthetic or chemical sunscreen ingredients. Only Zinc Oxide and /or Titanium Dioxide sunblock offer safe, effective and lasting organic sun protection and UV natural sunscreen.

Uncoated Zinc Oxide is a main active ingredient for a natural suntan lotion agent. Zinc oxide is a mineral. It provides a broad-spectrum sensitive skin sunscreen protection against UVA/UVB rays.

It does this by sitting on top of your skin. This is the barrier that blocks the sun’s rays before they reach your skin. Studies show that it has anti-inflammatory properties and is considered the safest and most protective sunscreen ingredient.

Zinc Oxide does an excellent job of protecting skin from UVB and UVA.

Your organic sunscreen should be 100% USDA Certified Organic. It has plant oils, butters and waxes. This is the base, or carrier, of the zinc oxide particles.

Many have no water so they don't need any chemical emulsifiers and contain Natural Vitamin E. These natural sunscreens further protect your skin from the sun.

Difference Between “Physical Barrier” & “Chemical”

A physical barrier (organic lotion) forms a film on top of the skin that reflects the UV light. An all natural sunscreen contains Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, or a combination for the safest sunscreen available.

A chemical sunscreen will soak into the skin. It absorbs the UV rays before they do any damage.

Normally a single chemical ingredient protects against either UVA or UVB, but not for both. For broad-spectrum protection, you need to choose a chemical sunscreen that may contain several active ingredients.

Chemical sunscreens might be absorbed into the skin which would contribute to an irritation or sunscreen allergy.

Chemicals may also increase the production of free radicals leading to deterioration and slowing down of the cell renewal process.
